Grace Prep will be playing Coram Deo-Flower Mound in the boys basketball regional finals on Saturday, February 22. The game will be played at Colleyville Heritage HS (5401 Heritage Ave, Colleyville, 76034) and will tip off at 7:00 p.m. The winner will move on to the TAPPS 4A Final Four in Waco February 28-29. Tickets will be $6 for adults, $4 for students (K-12)/seniors (65+). As it is a playoff game, no GPA passes are accepted. Let’s go, Lions!

Brewer Inks Letter of Intent on Signing Day

Grace Prep quarterback Mason Brewer signed a letter of intent to continue his athletic and academic careers at Western New Mexico University. WNMU, located in Silver City, is a member of the NCAA Division 2’s Lone Star Conference. Brewer is a two-year football letter winner at Grace Prep, and has twice earned TAPPS Academic All-State honors, as well as second-team all-district honors at quarterback twice. In 2019, he also garnered honorable mention all-district honors as a punter. Congratulations to Mason and his family!

GPA to Honor Austin and Mudiay as Legendary Lions

Grace Preparatory Academy is excited to announce a celebration honoring Isaiah Austin and Emmanuel Mudiay. On February 14 at 12:00 p.m., Grace Prep will honor Isaiah and Emmanuel as they are inducted into the school hall of fame as a “Legendary Lions”. Alfred Honored for His 600th Career Win

Varsity Boys Basketball Coach Richie Alfred was honored before Tuesday’s contest with the game ball marking his 600th career victory. The milestone came on December 12 in the first round of the Keller ISD Tournament against McKinney High School, when the Lions fought to a 46-41 win. Post Named Star-Telegram Volleyball Utility Player of the Year

The honor caps off a strong final season for Post who will be continuing her playing career at Lubbock Christian University. The 3rd annual Grace Prep Invitational presented by Spring Creek Barbeque will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5. The 16-team field includes defending champion and host Grace Prep (2019 TAPPS 4A champions), TAPPS 5A champion Frisco Legacy Christian, six other teams making their third appearance in the tournament, three appearing for the second time, as well as five teams playing in the tourney for the first time.
