North Giving Day – a Success!

By | Campus Life Blog, Elementary, High School, Junior High, Kindergarten | No Comments

The dust has settled. Six weeks of campaigning and scheming has come to an end. The result? Our school is better and stronger than ever. Because of your faithfulness and generosity here is what transpired on North Texas Giving Day (September 19): – Grace Prep collected over 770 individual gifts making us the #4 school in all North Texas. – Grace Prep had more gifts given between 10AM and 2PM than any other nonprofit in North Texas, winning us an extra $5,000. – Grace Prep had three matching gifts this year… each gift was met. – Grace Prep took over the Levitt, again. They can hold us down but they can’t keep us out! – Grace Prep rallied and helped our friends at the Green Oaks School win $10,000. – Grace Prep raised over $150,000 in eighteen hours to go towards our school projects. We will begin building and improving this fall!  Once again our students, families, and community have stepped up and stepped out in big ways. Our school is better and stronger because of you. Thanks for helping us Finish Strong.

By | Campus Life Blog, Elementary, High School, Junior High, Kindergarten, Student Life | No Comments

Giving brings joy — and so do food trucks, live music, and fellowship with our Grace Prep family! North Texas Giving Day once again culminates with a live event at the Levitt Pavilion from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 19. Please join us in representing Grace Prep and celebrating the generosity of our school’s community. At the event, we encourage you to vote for Green Oaks School for the “People’s Choice Award,” a recognition which offers recipients a $10,000 grant from the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation. Green Oaks is a Christian school for children with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities in Arlington. Your vote will help us lift up and encourage a deserving organization that is doing incredible, Christ-centered work in our community. On Thursday, don’t forget to make your gift to Grace Prep, and then join us at the NTGD celebration at Levitt Pavilion. We can’t wait to see you there!
