Math Lab

Writing Tutorial

This tutorial is required for all new high school students for the first six weeks of school; it will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 and 10 a.m. with Mrs. Hogan in room 207.

Writing Lab

The writing lab’s purpose is to provide students with help in the writing process. Many students struggle with what to write and how to organize their thoughts into writing. From pre-writing to formulating a thesis, and from researching to formatting the works cited, students will receive help with organizing and formulating their writing. Specific areas of concern will be addressed through an available writing curriculum called Grassroots. The writing lab is committed to keeping the integrity of the student’s writing his own and should not be seen as a proofreading service; rather, it is a place where students will gain the tools and the skills to become confident writers. When and Where?

Writing Lab is scheduled by appointment only.  If you would like to arrange an appointment, please email Mrs. Hogan at rhogan@graceprep.org at least 10 hours in advance of the desired time, or you may stop by her classroom on MWF and request an appointment. Her room number is 1101. In order for the family account to not be charged for missed sessions, a courtesy cancellation call is requested prior to the scheduled time.

Spanish Lab

For those needing help with Spanish classes, a lab will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. in room 1206.
