Elementary Supply List 

General supplies necessary for 1st and 2nd grade Academic Block include:

• Binder (1 ½ inch) – clear front sleeve and pockets on the inside covers

• 6 plastic pocket dividers with tabs (please label the tabs as follows – homework, math, reading/phonics, English/writing, Science/SS and graded papers)

• 1 composition notebook – (1st grade – If you can find the ones with primary grades lined paper, that is even better.)

• 1 supply pouch with three holes to go in binder

• Wide–ruled notebook paper – keep 20 to 30 sheets in binder (replenish as needed)

• 1 container of wet wipes for hands (1st grade only)

• 1 container of sanitizing wipes for tables (2nd grade only)

• 1 box of tissue

• 2-3 sharpened pencils (no mechanical) in zipper pouch (restock as needed)

• 1 package of 4 x 6 blank index cards (2nd grade only) – to be kept at home

 You do not need to purchase crayons, markers, glue, scissors, rulers, etc., as we will provide all of those things in the classroom. Just be sure you have them available at home for homework.

A Note About Textbooks:
Textbooks and workbooks will all be provided as well. Hard cover textbooks will be checked out for the year and returned at the end of the year. So, you may want to purchase a few book covers to keep textbooks from being damaged and to avoid paying replacement costs. Since we write in the consumable workbooks, they will be yours to keep at the end of the year.

General supplies necessary for most 3rd thru 6th grade classes include: 

• 1 large binder (at least 2 inch – zipper or Velcro closure works best)

• 10 plastic pocket dividers

• Wide-ruled notebook paper (2-3 packages per semester)

• Pencils

• Zipper pouch for pencils that goes in the binder

• Erasers

• Pencil sharpener (handheld – with container to catch shavings)

• 2 red pencils or pens for grading

• 1 package colored pencils (12 ct.)

• Ruler – measures English and metric

• Black dry erase marker (2 per semester)

• Scissors

• Glue stick

• 1 container of disinfecting wipes

• 1 box of tissue

Individual teachers will communicate any additional supplies needed during Mock School Days or the first day of class.
