Donovan Solis
Head Golf Coach
Coach Solis was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He began his golfing career at Shady Oaks Country Club, the home of Mr. Ben Hogan. Shortly after Mr. Hogan’s passing in 1997, Donovan took an assistant professional position at the historic Colonial Country Club. While attaining his PGA membership, he also became a strong part of a successful golf operating team through 2008. Donovan took the Head Golf Professional position at Northridge Country Club in Texarkana, TX, where he had the opportunity to own the golf shop and attain true business management experience. In 2010, Donovan won “Golf Professional of the Year” and the “Horton Smith Award” for the East Chapter of the Northern Texas PGA. Donovan also attained a number of committee positions with his PGA section. He is the Program Director for The First Tee of Fort Worth and is a PGA TOUR credentialed instructor. He has been happily married to his wife Amy since 2000, and their son DJ will be attending Grace in the fall.
