While there, she was part of the TAIAW All-American Team and earned the records for the most steals and most assists in a season, which she holds to this day. She also holds the 3rd place title for All Time in Career Assists in 2 years of play. Julie also attended the University of Texas at Arlington from 1984 to 1986 where she majored in physical education. She has three children; Kacey and Haley graduated from Grace in 2002 and 2008, respectively. Her son Caleb is a junior here.
“Grace provides a competitive sports environment where my children could grow in their sport but also, more importantly, in their character. This is a school that doesn’t only care about your children because they are athletes; we care deeply for them (and their families) as people.”
