Administration

Elaine Chapman, M.Ed.

Principal (Head Administrator)

ext. 107

Elaine came to Grace in the fall of 2005 to teach sixth grade English. She has a BA in special education from Oral Roberts University (Tulsa, OK), and she earned her Master of Education in educational leadership from Dallas Baptist University in December of 2010.

Elaine and her husband Marc have been blessed with six children, all of whom attend or have attended Grace Prep. Candace graduated in 2007, and is a nursing student at Texas Women's University. Will is serving in the U.S. Navy as a submariner. Erica graduated from Grace in 2010 and is currently attending TCC with plans to transfer to OU in the fall of 2012. Marc is a sophomore, Mallory is an 8th grader, and Matthew is a 7th grader.

“I absolutely love serving and interacting with the families as well as the faculty and staff here at Grace Prep. We are so much more than a school; we are a community of parents, teachers, and servants in Christ who desire a better way to educate our children while protecting and preserving what it becoming increasingly difficult to maintain—family time.”

Dale Meinecke

Dean of Students and Family Ministry

ext. 111

Dale joined us in 2008 as GPA’s Athletic Director, a position through which he provided a wealth of mentoring experience both on and off the field to our student athletes. However, his position as the Dean of Students allows him to serve all of the students at Grace, as well as their families, with his God-given talents and training. He graduated from Howard Payne University with a degree in interdisciplinary counseling, as well as teaching certification in English. While there, he also served as the chapel coordinator. He went on to receive an MA in theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as the Baptist Student Ministry Director as Dallas Baptist University and pastored a small church in Comanche, Texas, before coming to Grace. He has led several mission trips and leadership retreats. Dale is currently finishing his Ph.D. in Leadership from DBU where he has concentrated his research in education, servant leadership, and leadership development. Dale and his wife Christy have two children, Katie and Claire. Katie is a 4th grader at Grace, and Claire began this year as a kindergartner.

“The quality students at Grace Prep have the potential to change the world with the message of Christ. It excites me to be a part of God’s strategic plan in raising up solid Christian students who don’t just talk about being witnesses for Christ, but who live it.”

Richard Reed

Athletic Director/Head Football Coach

ext. 116

Coach Reed joined us in 2009, bringing an impressive 10 years of both coaching and on-the-field experience to our student athletes. While playing football for the University of Oklahoma as a defensive end from 1982-1987, Coach Reed played in the Big Eight Championship games in 1984, 1985, and 1986. In 1985, he was a member of the National Championship team, and in 1987, he graduated with a BA in communication and received an Academic All Big-Eight Award. After graduation, he went on to play as a defensive lineman for the Denver Broncos, making the team as a free-agent (non-drafted player) and playing in the Superbowl that same year. He coached outside linebackers at North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA, and became the defensive coordinator of Northview High School in Duluth, GA.

Coach Reed has three grown children, Roshunda, Richard, and Lauren. He feels blessed to be a part of the Grace Prep family.

"Initially, I was drawn to Grace Prep by the reputation and rich tradition. But after taking a closer look, I realized the true uniqueness of the “Grace Family” atmosphere, and I wanted to be a part of it."

Librarian

“It is such a privilege to enter into prayer with and for our families, especially when the students approach me and ask me to pray with them. This is a special blessing from our Lord: to be able to intercede in prayer, without regard for place, time, or circumstance, with His children and for His children, including parents and grandparents. So many times we intercede especially for extended family members to come into a knowledge of who Jesus is, what He can do, and how much we need His indwelling Spirit to enter into all of us.”
